The Venturers visited my rural acreage seven times in 2025 to assist with a large FireSmart effort. We took advantage of all of the available services including felling and bucking many large and medium-size trees, evergreen shrub removal, stump grinding, limbing up trees, branch chipping and spreading, topsoil levelling and splitting/stacking firewood. The crew of 8 to 10 arrived on time, completed a safety tailgate meeting and immediately went to work with their own landscaping equipment. I was involved in the discussions about daily projects with Stephen and Richard and any questions along the way. They cleaned up any debris piles before leaving. It was a pleasure to work with such a diverse group, all of whom were friendly and focused on getting the job done properly.
